About
I’m Nichole — wife, mom of three (two boys and a girl), and a finance and audit professional by trade. I spend my workdays reading regulations closely, testing what’s in front of me, and building systems that hold up under pressure. Somewhere along the way I realized that’s exactly how I needed to approach God’s Word as a mother.
The Equipped Mom started with my own questions. Thirty topics I had to work through personally — identity, fear, exhaustion, discipline, trust when the answer didn’t come. I didn’t want a verse pulled out of context and a nice graphic. I wanted the whole chapter, the Old Testament standing next to the New, and a clear answer for what it meant for the day I was dealing with.
That’s what you’ll find here. These devotionals aren’t a page of Scripture you’re left to figure out. Each one takes a specific thing moms actually go through, studies it in context, and ends with something practical you can do that day — for yourself and with your kids.
I don’t have every answer. But I believe an equipped mom is one who goes and finds them (1 Peter 3:15), and then uses the gifts God gave her — whatever they are — to pass them on to her children. Equipping is active, not passive. It starts with you.
Milk is for babies. This is meat for the mom.
